Simon joined the firm in 2019 and prior to that was a partner at another leading commercial law firm in Nassau. He was called to the Bahamas Bar and the Bar of England & Wales in 2007.
Simon’s practice focuses primarily on real estate transactional work and he has developed a reputation as a highly efficient, effective and responsive attorney with a strong following among some of The Bahamas’ leading property developers and realtors as a result.
Simon has successfully represented the developers of several high end condominium developments in New Providence from the initial planning phase through completion of the sales program. He also has represented many high net worth individuals in successfully completing sales, purchases and financing in connection with real estate transactions in The Bahamas’ leading developments and communities including Ocean Club Estates, Lyford Cay, Old Fort Bay, Kamalame Cay, Hope Town, Harbour Island and many others. He has a great deal of experience in guiding second home owners and investors from all over the world through the process of obtaining residency in The Bahamas through property ownership and assisting with obtaining governmental approvals and concessions for non-Bahamians to participate in developments and businesses of various types in The Bahamas.
Outside of the office, Simon enjoys travel and the outdoors, particularly boating and diving. He is also a competitive triathlete and has represented The Bahamas in amateur competitions internationally.
